This my attempt to draw a picture of me from the Roman Holiday party. It didn't work. I traced it before I did the watercolors so everything is in the right place, but it still doesn't look at all like me (:

I don't know what you look like, but I know that a college friend (who majored in Art) always told me that watercolors are a difficult medium to use. I believe that you have done a very nice job with this painting!
You don't give yourself enough credit Ria - I think it is a very fine piece =) Watercolor is one of the most difficult mediums. I would be curious to see the same picture but with a black and white medium such as charcoal or pencil. Keep up the artwork. I am seeing improvement every time =)
